Beside the Staatstheater, the Kunstverein Schwerin was the second institution I contacted shortly after I moved to Schwerin. The reason I did that was mostly because I had to start somewhere anyway to get to know the city and its people and since I have a sentimental connection to the Kunstverein in Hamburg where I spent a lot of time during school and my design education. I never became a member in Hamburg but thought I could change this now.
I met Nadine Grünewald for a coffee (after sending her one or two reminder) and we gew friends. She helped me to find my studio (in the same building as the Kunstverein) and it was only natural that I started to help by covering some of the exhibtions on video or photos.
