I never leave home without a camera when I am away for more than two or three days or if I visit places where I have never been again. I mostly shoot on film and not digital, probably because I see this form of photography not only as something arty but as a documentary of places and times as well and I am quite sure that film will outlive digital photography.
It is not that I dislike Digital Photography. I use digital for payed jobs because it saves time and makes my work much easier. But considering how hard it allready is to bring photos I stored on hard discs 20 years ago, I guess most of the digital stuff (not only mine) will get lost over the years.
