The Nutcracker

This series is from my first ballet shooting: Tchaikowsky´s The Nutcracker at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. And I really enjoyed this assignment. The performance was great, the opera house is great and the people were friendly and things went smoothly. The only thing that could be better was the position us press people had: it was row 20 or backwards and one could hardly change the perspective. But - das Leben ist kein Wunschkonzert and I think it could have hardly gone better with a first assignment. Iana Salenko (prima ballerina) and Luciana Voltolini liked some the photos from this series on facebook right away and that is always something that makes me very happy ... (Nikon D7000)
